Phonofile AS is a Norwegian digital music archive and central distribution office for audio files for independent record labels.
The company was established in 1999, and is owned by FONO (Association of Independent Record Producers), NOPA (Association of Norwegian Composers and Lyricists), NRK Aktivum and TV2 Invest.
The database includes more than 100.000 titles and a wide variety of music styles and genres. From cool hip-hop and electronica to traditional folk music, jazz, rock, metal, classical and contemporary music. In other words; the most exciting music from the independent Scandinavian music scene.
